Giving away a copy of “Don’t Starve”

So the other day I saw Amanda mention the game “Don’t Starve” so I checked it out.

Seemed simple, kinda fun, not expensive, seemed worth the buy. It was, it is pretty fun.

But the thing is with Steam I got two copies because it’s like this open beta thing that they’re doing to promote the game or improve it (or both) - point is I’ve got two copies of the game.

Was going to gift it to my little brother but he watched a little gameplay playthrough and wasn’t sold, saying how he liked Minecraft better (not going to get into why that statement is crap now).

At any rate I don’t know anyone who’d be interested in the game so I’m throwing this out here, if you really want it and are actually planning on playing it you can have it, just reblog and like this.

If you don’t know what “Don’t Starve” is then Google it, visit the developer’s blog, or watch TotalBuiscuit do a short introductory run of a much older version of the game (still covers the basics, which is enough to get the point) in an episode of is “WTF is…” series.

If by some chance I get more than one person asking for it, I’ll do some kind of random draw. Will need to know Steam account name so I can gift it.

It’s not super expensive and it’s worth the buy, but there’s just no point in letting a perfectly good free game go to waste either.

Hmm, I thought there’d be at least one person out there who would want the game, I’m a little surprised.
