I couldn’t find much else as far as tutorials go. The general rule if you have a knowledge of muscle anatomy is to exaggerate the size and definition of the muscles for a muscular person. The opposite is true as well. Lanky/skinny people have muscle underneath just not defined. I would suggest drawing from photos to learn the difference between what a muscular man and a less defined man looks like.
It took me a while to compile everything so I honestly hope it’s helpful. :)
A. If you could get away with one murder in your lifetime without any legal, social, or emotional repercussions, would you kill someone?
No, probably not. I mean, part of me thinks that the world would probably be better if certain people died (i.e. slave traders, political tyrants and certain dictators) but i don’t feel that it’s my place to kill someone.
However, in saying that. I have no qualms against killing someone in direct self defence. Incapacitation is preferable, but if it’s me or them, (or, them or someone i know) i’ll pick them.
B. What is your first thought when you receive a message on Tumblr, are you excited for the idea of someone from potentially the other side of the world wanting to talk to you or fearful that someone will criticize you?
Idk, i haven’t received one yet :/
C. Have you ever looked down on someone because you thought your religious views were superior?
Not really, sometimes I wonder how they could believe what they believe, but it’s not my place to judge. The thing that shits me is when someone says they are (for example) a Christian, yet i know their scriptures better than they do (i’m an atheist). or more to the point, when they have no idea what Christianity entails.
D. Would you rather know everything the universe has to offer but in exchange lose all emotions or remain the way you are now?
What’s the point of knowing everything if I am unable to enjoy the knowledge? No empathy means i probably won’t be bothered to share it. I wouldn’t even get the chance to be amazed by the knowledge.
E. If you could live and be healthy without sleeping or eating/drinking, which would you cut out of your life?
SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP!!!!
I have been saying for years, that if i could have any one wish. it would be to never need to sleep again.
F. If you could take on the exact body and form of anyone else on Earth, who would it be?
I honestly don’t know. I am totally comfortable with my body image. Part of me wishes i had longer fingers, but that’s only so i could reach further on a piano.
G. Would you rather burn or freeze to death?
H. If it meant it would solve all world hunger, war, disease and bigotry, would you spend the rest of eternity in Hell?
That’s a tough one. I don’t think so. but if the option was genuinely given to me I might answer differently
I. Was the first crush in your life something you had or something someone had on you?
HAHAHAHAHAHA, it was mutual. and we spent 3 years (ish) running circles around each other. Then we went out for 2 years. I guess you could say I was very lucky in that regard.
J. Could you live without having sex ever (again) in exchange for eternal youth?
Yes. (In fact, I’d even give up masturbation)
K. Have you ever watched a full length pornographic movie?
God no, those things are boring as hell
L. The Beatles or The Rolling Stones?
M. If you could have the ability to manipulate matter or energy, which would you choose?
Technically aren’t they kinda the same thing… ? but if pressed i’d go with matter.
N. What was the worst nightmare you ever had?
It has been many, many years since i’ve had a nightmare, but i used to have a recurring one when i was in primary school. The only way to explain it is that It felt like i was a needle in a sea of thick, heavy blankets and was getting totally smothered. but it all looked like when you close your eyes… you know, black but not totally black? This really doesn’t even come close to explaining it, but for about two years of my life I had to have some sort of light when i was sleeping. this could be something as simple as the numbers on a digital clock, the little green diode on the smoke alarm or a glow in the dark watch.
Totally over it now though.
O. Would you rather spend one year with your one true love just to never see them again or the rest of your life with second best?
Second best. Call me overly pragmatic if you will, but love is far too romanticised (if you’ll pardon the pun). Tim Minchin’s song If I Didn’t Have You ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gaid72fqzNE ) sums up my opinion on the matter fairly succinctly.
P. All the sequels/remakes/adaptations/rip-offs in movies nowadays, good or bad?
Like anything, some are good, some are bad.
Q. Would you rather be dirt poor and emotionally fulfilled in life or be rich beyond imagination and emotionally dissatisfied for life?
Is this even a question?
What’s the point of anything if you’re not emotionally fulfilled?
R. Do you have any (secret) feelings of bigotry to any group of people?
Not that i’m aware of. I suppose part of me feels that way about the stereotypical Right Wing Redneck (if you’re american) / Right Wing Bogan (if you’re australian like i am) but it’d definitely be exaggerating to go anywhere near as far as calling it bigotry.
S. Would you rather be the only person in the world that can read minds or have everyone else in the world be able to read minds except for your own?
Definitely the first one. although I don’t know if i’d really want to be able to read minds at all. some things should remain private. plus, i know that personally, what i “think” in my mind, and my actual opinions are often totally different things.
T. If everyone in the world would automatically only know one language, which language would you choose?
English… or Esperanto.
If you don’t know what Esperanto is, i highly recommend googling it.
U. If you were old enough and not in a situation where it would be inappropriate, would you sleep with one of your (past) school teachers/professors?
Nah, i never had any feeling towards any of my school teachers.
V. A world without religion, good, bad, neutral?
Well, i could talk for hours on this topic, but i’ll keep it brief. I believe that spirituality is neccersary (although it is enriched very differently for defferent people) however, the religious institutions in the world presently are certainly not forces for good. The Roman Catholic church is harbouring child molesters, they actively campaign against contraception and women’s rights. There are many Islamic terrorist groups. There are also many christian’s who have done equally horrible things recently in the name of God. Scientology is a money laundering corporation which systematically estranges it’s members from their friends and familly and there are numerous examples of human rights violation in regards to the children of members, as well as the members themselves. Google “Project Chanology” or “Lisa McPherson”.
The whole idea of having someone who is “holier than thou” (i.e. a priest, prophet etc.) is just asking for trouble. Having anyone in a position of power who doesn’t have to answer to the people is just asking for trouble. All you have to do is look at the beginnings of the Roman Catholic church. They introducing the idea that one could only reach god through an intermediate (i.e. through the priests.) in order to give them almost complete political power over the catholic countries in europe.
W. The men’s rights movement, legitimate cause or laughable, and why?
I believe that it is very important to remove the double standards in our society in regards to both men and women. For example, one in three victims of domestic violence is a man, but you only ever see advertising for women’s domestic violence counselling.
I do, however, believe that many people use the men’s right’s movement as a veneer to hide their misogynistic views.
X. You can eliminate one of your five senses to substantially strengthen the others, which one and would you do it?
Y. Do looks mean anything to you? Don’t lie, could you fall in love with someone you thought was ugly?
However, I honestly believe I could fall in love with someone who was ugly, but it would be harder than if they were attractive. Although my definition of attractive doesn’t seem to be the same as the “common definition”. I guess it’s all subjective. One thing i have noticed is that the more you like someone, the more attractive they seem to you. Although i am certain that there would be a point where it would become very difficult for feelings to start.
Z. Can you understand the mindset and logic used by the opposite spiritual opinion? An atheist understanding the belief in a higher power and vice versa.
As someone who used to believe in a Christian god, but is now an Atheist, i believe i can.
At the age of 12-13 i talked to numerous people to try and come to a decision. I spoke to a number of members of the Christian Family Mission that i attended each year at Christmas, i talked to my primary and high school scripture teachers, to my father and to two pastors. I also read about half a dozen books on the topic, including “More than just a carpenter”, “The case for christ” and “the god delusion.”
however, in saying this, i believe it is important to remember that everybody’s spiritual opinion is different and has formed in different ways for different reasons.
(i would recommend these books to anyone who is trying to decide what they believe. “The Case For Christ” in particular is very good, written by a journalist in a journalistic manner. “The God Delusion” is by Richard Dawkins. It’s very… blunt, abrasive, and occasionally insulting towards religious people, but it does have a lot of very good points and he explains the science behind things very, very well. I just wish he wasn’t such a dick.)
Phew… that was a trek and a half. I hope that I haven’t waffled on too much.
anyway, I hope you enjoyed reading my wall of text.
The point of the question posts are so that when a person reblogs them, you send them a question via message and then they answer those questions.
But since you went through the trouble of answering all these questions it’d be wrong not to publish it.
